The powergrade is that same look rebuilt as a full DaVinci Resolve node tree, with halation, glow, grain and colour density baked in and fully adjustable. Want the fastest result? Get the LUTs. Want total control and the full film texture? Get the powergrade. The bundle gives you both.
The LUT pack includes four graded looks — Taste, a dense and muted documentary base, plus Warm, Cool, and Mono (black & white) — and three film-grain overlays (light, medium, heavy). The powergrade is the full Taste look rebuilt as an adjustable DaVinci Resolve node tree.
The LUT pack works in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut — every major editor. The powergrade is built specifically for DaVinci Resolve Studio, since its halation and grain nodes need the Studio version.
Only for the powergrade. It uses effect nodes for halation, glow, and grain that run in the paid Resolve Studio — the free version will not render them as intended. The LUTs need no special software and work in Resolve (free or Studio), Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut.
No. Taste works on any Rec.709 footage from any camera — phone, mirrorless, or cinema. Shot in log (S-Log3, C-Log3, V-Log and the rest)? Convert to Rec.709 first with a conversion LUT or a CST node — one step — then drop Taste on top.
